Heart of Anderson exists to make one thing easy: finding what is already here.
Downtown has changed. Storefronts that sat dark for years are open again, and the people behind them are neighbours rather than chains. What was missing was a single place to look them up. Not a directory buried in a city website, and not a Facebook group. Somewhere a visitor can open on their phone at the corner of Main and decide where to go next.
That is all this site is. A current, checked list of the independent businesses in the district, the events happening on the street, and the practical details that get people here and parked.
Who runs it

How a business gets listed
Listings are free for independent businesses inside the district. Send your name, address, opening hours and one photo and we will add you. We check the list every quarter, so tell us when your hours change.
